ALENTUY,
headquartered in Caracas Venezuela, has been an active producer
of aluminum cans, tubes and slugs since its founding in 1976 by
Mr. Antonio Nagen, its President.
With
a staff of 780, ten lines - four for aerosol and six for tubes and
a smelting plant, it is able to meet demand for aluminum containers
and slugs from all over of the world.
Most
ALENTUY products are exported to North, Central and South
America; the rest go to Japan and China in the far east and Morocco
and Zambia in Africa.
Today,
ALENTUY is considered one of the largest integrated suppliers
of aluminum tubes, cans and slugs in the world.
ALENTUY
has three manufacturing plants, all in the Barquisimeto area (Lara
State) in western Venezuela. It has a sales office and distribution
center in Weston, Florida U.S.A.
The
total manufacturing area is 45,468 square meters, on 100,474 square
meters of land. Each facility was planned with room for expansion,
and growth has been steady over the last twenty years.
In
1996, with the acquisition of a fourth aerosol high-speed line,
ALENTUY increased its production capacity to 110 million
aerosol cans, in addition to its capacity of 225 million collapsible
tubes and 9,600 tons of aluminum slugs.
Indeed,
ALENTUY has always implemented state-of-the-art technology
in its extrusion, washing, curing, brushing, printing, necking and
packaging areas.
Brand
differentiation, attractive and aesthetic packaging, and new shapes,
have become key elements in competitiveness. ALENTUY offers
a wide range of shapes, sizes, necking finishing, as well as special
features and sizes in collapsible tubes, which fully meet market
demand.
State-of-the-art
technology, particularly the introduction of creative and art services
in the manufacturing process, has led to innovations in the ALENTUY
Technical Group, all of which have been rapidly implemented.
